CARLETON COLLEGE – Science Hall Expansion and Renovation

Hulings Hall contains the Biology and Microbiology department as well as faculty offices, student collegial spaces, labs, prep rooms, storage and common equipment areas, greenhouse and prep rooms.  The project is skillfully integrated into architectural setting of the campus.

The 46,000 SF renovation of Olin Hall includes both the physics and psychology departmental offices as well as new lecture demonstration rooms, labs, instrumentation shops, testing chambers.

The renovation for Mudd Hall affected 29,000 SF of the 50,000 SF building.  New geology labs, chemical storage and prep rooms are concentrated on the 1st level.  New chemistry labs, instrument room, and faculty offices were incorporated into the plan as well as renovation of existing labs.  Changes were also made to the penthouse to accommodate new equipment.
