Maplewood, Minnesota

Home of the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors, this project has served as an Executive Board office, training center, administrative office, credit union, and a sales area since designed and built by the same team in 1984. In the 2005 re-creation, the single level brick building’s main facade is articulated with a metallic blue screen wall that accents the entry and is visible from a nearby highway. The building is residential in scale along the back side of the building.

Although the Association has grown from 1500 to 4000 members over the past 20 years, the building has continued to flexibly serve the association while maintaining a fresh and inviting appearance.

The project was completed by the design build team of James Steele Construction and Rafferty Rafferty Tollefson Lindeke Architects, after being selected through a competitive design build process.
